A small uninteresting courtyard needed to be turned into something special creating a space that felt more like an extension to the rooms in the house rather than an unusable outside space. The client had a particular colour in mind to use within the hard landscape features. The illusion of space is created by using the height provided by the raised beds, the horizontal Cedar batons helps draw the eye around the garden and the inclusion of the water feature as a focal point helps to both focus and distract the eye before taking in the remainder of the scheme.
